At the request of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince of Monaco, the Princely Government, in accordance with the National Counsel, recently associated the Principality with the international solidarity effort that has manifested with regard to the people most strongly affected by the war in Iraq.

An aid of 50,000 euros has therefore been set aside for the international humanitarian activities of help and assistance.

These funds will be given to the United Nations through an account that has been set up specifically for this purpose.
