1ST HALF-IRONMAN TRIATHLON MONACO - SEPTEMBER 4, 2005

Organized by TRIANGLE show & sports promotion in cooperation with the Monégasque authorities, and with the support of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the Half-IRONMAN Triathlon Monaco will take place on September 4th, 2005.

Up to 1000 tri-athletes will participate in this brand new race in and around the Principality of Monaco. 30 of them will have the unique chance to qualify for the (full) IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii in October 2006.

The Half-IRONMAN Monaco Triathlon is one of four IRONMAN events organized by TRIANGLE, all of which offer qualification slots for the IRONMAN World Championships in Hawaii held annually in October. In the seven years since its inception, TRIANGLE has grown to the second biggest IRONMAN licensee worldwide and the strongest in international activity in four countries. With the Spec-Savers IRONMAN South Africa Triathlon held on March 20th, the new IRONMAN France – Nice Triathlon on June 19th, the Kärnten IRONMAN Austria Triathlon on July 3rd and the Half-IRONMAN Monaco Triathlon on September 4th, as well as with triathlon events on several other distances and with training institutes and shops specialised in triathlon, TRIANGLE serves 12.000 clients worldwide in 2005.
