June
17, 2005 – On Tuesday, July 12, 2005, the Principality
of Monaco will celebrate the enthronement of His Serene Highness Prince
Albert II with a day of festivities.
In accordance
with His wishes, the ceremonies will have a convivial flair in keeping
with the deep attachment the Princely family and the Monégasque
community have shared for more than seven centuries.
11:30am:

Mass
and Te Deum celebrated by Msgr. Bernard Barsi at the Monaco Cathedral.
The ceremony is reserved to Monégasque citizens and their
spouse. As space is limited, the ceremony will be broadcast live
in a nearby street for Monégasques and residents who could
not access the Cathedral.
The Mass will be followed by a garden party hosted by the Prince. |

Official
ceremony, followed by a reception offered by H.S.H. the Prince
to the Monégasque citizens, their spouse and children,
on the Palace Square. |

9:30pm:
|
|
Concert
by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction
of Me Marek Janowski, in the Palace Courtyard and broadcast live
on the Palace Square.
This concert is also reserved to Monégasque citizens. |

Ball and fireworks on Quai Albert Ier, open to all Monégasques
and residents of Monaco. |

the concert walk down to the Port to join the festivities. |
To coincide
with Monaco's National Day festivities on November 19, 2005, a number
of official Coronation ceremonies will be scheduled with the participation
of dignitaries from around the world. Details of those events will
be released at a later date.
