H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco

New York, July 2005 -- The magical setting of the world's premier luxury destination, the Principality of Monaco, will provide a stunning backdrop for one of the most distinctive charitable auctions this fall. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the Only Watch 2005 Charity Auction will feature unique timepieces especially created for the occasion and donated by leading watch manufacturers with all profits benefiting an international research project* to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

In an unprecedented collaboration between 34 of the finest watch brands, this important event culminates on September 22 in the Principality with the live and on-line sale, conducted by Antiquorum, the world's most prestigious auction house for timepieces.

"While studying the 34 descriptions and illustrations of the watches to be offered, I was struck by the diversity of the pieces; each manufacturer has interpreted the mission in its own fashion, producing a watch that is characteristic of that firm's image, style and flair. I was moved by the humanitarian spirit displayed by the brands as they whole-heartedly and enthusiastically took part in this worthy cause. The result is an astounding and magnificent selection of 34 horological masterpieces, the finest in watch making today," said Mr. Osvaldo Patrizzi, Chairman and CEO of Antiquorum.

All watches are either unique (created for this event) or number one in a limited series. The auction catalogue and complimentary registration for bidding are available on-line at www.antiquorum.com. Participating watch manufacturers (in alphabetical order) are: Andersen Genève, Antoine Preziuso, Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Bovet, Breguet, Chopard, Corum, de Bethune, de Grisogono, delaCour, De Witt, Eterna, Franck Muller, Frédérique Constant, Gérald Genta, Harry Winston, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-Lecoultre, Jaquet Droz, Kiu Tai Yu, Louis Vuitton, Officine Panerai, Omega, Parmigiani Fleurier, Patek Philippe, Piaget, Pierre Kunz, Richard Mille by Philippe Starck, Swatch, Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin and Zenith.

The Monaco Yacht Show, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2005, is proud to provide the stage for this world-first event that seamlessly combines a magnificent Riviera setting with the capacity to raise awareness and funds for research into a devastating childhood illness - two things for which Monaco is world-renowned. Each year in September, Monaco's impressive - and recently expanded - Port Hercule hosts the influential Monaco Yacht Show where, this year, more than 90 of the world's most beautiful yachts and sea-going craft, many for hire or purchase will be on display.

As part of a worldwide tour exhibition, watch enthusiasts will have the rare opportunity to admire these unique pieces at New York City's Tourneau TimeMachine on September 16-17 from 10am - 6pm. Visitors to the preview are invited to enter an in-store sweepstakes to win a fabulous trip to Monaco. An exclusive, VIP (invitation only) champagne cocktail reception, organized by the Consulate General of Monaco at Tourneau TimeMachine on Thursday, September 15 to kick-off this exhibit, is expected to attract many of New York's social and business elite.

What is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy?
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a serious genetic disease that affects one out of every 3,500 boys born. It is progressive and is marked by a gradual deterioration of the muscles, resulting in life-threatening pulmonary and cardiac complications. Those who suffer from the disease become highly dependent and require constant assistance and an adaptation of their environment. Research has made great strides during the past ten years, due to genetic progress, as well as to the dedicated efforts of associations the families of affected children. However, much remains to be done in order for effective therapies to be found to help these children.
*This project is coordinated by the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies, a founding member of United Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.

Antiquorum Auctioneers, the Consulate General of Monaco and the Monaco Government Tourist Office
are proud to support this unique event with the cooperation of
