PRINCE ALBERT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE UNITED NATIONS WORLD SUMMIT IN
NEW YORK |

New York, September 12, 2005 – H.S.H. Prince Albert will be in New York this week to take part in the High-Level Plenary Meeting of the 60th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, which will gather more than 170 Heads of State and Government at the U.N. headquarters from September 14 through 16, 2005. The Summit’s agenda includes a series a proposals presented last March by Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Kofi Annan, in his “In Larger Freedom” report and will deal with the issues of development, security, human rights and a United Nations overhaul. H.S.H.
Prince Albert will be joined by Monaco’s Minister of State,
H.E. Mr. Jean-Paul Proust. The Prince is scheduled to speak at the
tribune of the United Nations on Thursday, September 15 in the early
afternoon.
