SENIORS SERVE IT UP IN MONTE-CARLO

Delta Tour of Champions Senior Tennis Tournament to Debut in the Principality November 14-17, 2002

MONACO - October 11, 2002 -- Monaco, home to the annual Monte-Carlo International Tennis Masters Series, is pleased to announce the debut of a new tennis event in the Principality -- the Delta Tour of Champions Senior Tennis Tournament. The competition, which takes place from November 14-17 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, will welcome such tennis greats as John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Yannick Noah, Henri Leconte, Emilio Sanchez, Alex Korda, Mansour Bahrani, and Pat Cash. A special highlight of the event will be a pro-celebrity doubles event featuring Monaco's own Prince Albert.

Under the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco and organized by Monte-Carlo Entertainment, creator of the annual Monte-Carlo Pro-Celebrity Golf Tournament, the Delta Tour of Champions is sanctioned by the ATP and provides a rare opportunity to see these tennis legends take to the courts once again.

Highlighting the Delta Tour of Champions is the "Tamoil Legends of Monaco" tournament. Sponsored by Tamoil, a European-based oil company, the event will be the first senior ATP event held in the Principality. The tournament will also be the first major sporting event to be held at the newly completed Grimaldi Forum complex.

A series of social hospitality events will be scheduled for each day of the tournament, including the opportunity to meet participating celebrities such as Patrick Poivre d'Arvor, Laurent Fignon, David Halliday, Philippe Alliot and John McGlaughlin. A dinner and charity auction to raise proceeds for a children's charity will be held on Saturday evening.

"Monte-Carlo has long been a mecca for tennis enthusiasts, and I expect 'Tamoil Legends of Monaco' to become a regular and exciting date on the Monaco sporting calendar for years to come," said Monte-Carlo Entertainment President Mike Powers.

ATP Director Edwin Weindorfer added, "On behalf of the ATP and IMG, I am delighted that we can now include another ATP-sanctioned event in the Principality in addition to the Tennis Masters Monte-Carlo. Adding to our events in London, Paris and Frankfurt, we are very excited to expand our operations into such a sports-enthusiastic and glamorous place. I would like to especially thank all the sponsors, the Grimaldi Forum, and Mike Powers and his team for their efforts in making this project possible."
