Monaco - The appropriate financial institutions in Monaco have indicated that they have already begun- as many other countries have- to investigate the possible usage of Monegasque banking and financial institutions in operations connected to international terrorism. Although not previously required, they have recently received information requests from the American Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

The Monegasque institutions will begin the appropriate investigation with all the determination required under the present circumstances.
