H.S.H. CROWN PRINCE ALBERT SPEAKS
AT GLOBAL SUMMIT ON PEACE THROUGH TOURISM



On November 8, 2000, Ministers of Tourism and travel industry leaders from around the world gathered in Amman, Jordan, for the first Global Summit on Peace Through Tourism, held under the Royal Patronage of H.M. King Abdullah II. Organized by the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (IIPT), the Summit pays tribute to H.M. King Hussein's legacy of peace. The purpose of this year's Summit was to launch tourism as a "Global Peace Industry." H.S.H. crown prince Albert spoke at the event, which was attended by representatives from over 60 countries.
